Attractive storytelling
A compelling story about the 'why' of the company can create interest from investors, possible clients and future employees. I think there are three important elements for attractive storytelling; Person, Pitch and Dream.

Do you have an interesting story and filosophy to share with the outside world (why-how-what)?

Creating MVP
Another important element is the creation and presence of a minimal viable product. There are many models to choose from; I look at customer intimacy, product functionality and the processes underneath it. On a more strategic and corporate level, these three elements represent the strategic directions of a company.

Is your product or service exactly the one you wanted to create and to offer to the clients?

First customer feedback
It seems obvious, but listening to the customer and certainly in an early stage, is often denied. The brilliance of the product or service seems more important than feedback from customers. For me, quantity, quality and proper usage of customer feedback is important.

Do you have a first and also continunous feedback loop from customers to improve the proposition?
